BPB part of WDSD campaign for World Down Syndrome Day, postcards are distributed in schools

Bank for Business as a long-term partner of the Down Syndrome Kosova association has joined the campaign “Walk with my shoes” and “A postcard for you”, while, for the World Down Syndrome Day, postcards have been distributed in several schools in the country.

The postcards were made by children in the Down Syndrome Kosovo Association, meanwhile, were distributed within the activities organized for the World Down Syndrome Day, March 21.

Down Syndrome Kosova Association thanked the Bankën e vendit for the partnership, saying that they are constantly behind their organizations as needed.

The member of this association Medina Surdulli spoke to Kosova Press about this organization.

“On March 21, World Down Syndrome Day, we have organized a ‘One Postcard for You’ campaign, where we will sell these postcards in various schools,” said Surdulli.

This is not the only project that BPB will organize in cooperation with WDSD. Furthermore for the World Down Syndrome Day, several other activities are planned.

Last year BPB signed a 5-year partnership with Down Syndrome Kosova, where it was possible to receive services in this association to some children who were on the waiting list.

It was also possible to organize training with EU experts, “Building a comprehensive school”.

The partnership with the association Down Syndrome Kosova, will significantly affect the increase of care for the most beloved category of our society, meeting their needs in several areas.
