BPB launches the “Energy Efficiency Loan”
The “Energy Efficiency Loan” was launched in cooperation with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) which helps all businesses in their investments that contribute to increased energy efficiency. All customers who take out loans for energy efficiency will benefit: reduced monthly expenditures, improved conditions for business development and increased savings. Projects must be investments that will contribute to improve the energy performance of commercial buildings and to promote the use of energy from renewable energy sources. What makes this product unique is that up to 20% of the loan value shall be returned to the client after successful implementation of the project.
Who may receive the loan ?
To be able to receive this loan one must apply as:
- Business owner resident in Kosovo,
- Registered business under Kosovo laws.
How does your project qualify?
A project is eligible if it results in the reduction of energy use in a residential or business building. Projects that promote renewable energy are also eligible for loans. BPB considers that energy efficiency and higher savings are very important factors of welfare. Saving energy saves money, protects the environment and reduces the level of climate change.
